Chassis Lube

Chassis lubrication is a key maintenance service that helps protect the moving parts of your vehicle’s suspension and steering systems. Over time, components like ball joints, tie rod ends, control arms, and bushings can dry out or lose their protective grease due to heat, moisture, and everyday driving conditions. When these parts are no longer properly lubricated, they begin to create friction, which can lead to squeaking, premature wear, reduced handling performance, and costly repairs if left unaddressed.

During a chassis lube service at KTC Auto Care, a technician applies fresh grease to all applicable lubrication points throughout the vehicle’s undercarriage. Using specialized equipment, grease is injected into fittings (commonly called “zerk fittings”) to ensure each joint and connection is properly coated and protected. This process reduces friction, repels moisture and contaminants, and helps extend the life of critical suspension and steering components—keeping your ride smoother, quieter, and more responsive on the road.
